About Me

I am a physiotherapist, yoga instructor and health & nutrition enthusiast. After graduating from university as a physiotherapist, I worked with children with special needs and elderly people for 16 years. I completed several courses and took a great deal of special education training as a physiotherapist. My passion about yoga transformed into a desire to become a yoga teacher, and I received my 200hr certification in Melbourne and with my physiotherapy background,  I have written several articles about yoga therapy.  Because of my ambition about wellbeing, I also completed several courses such as Massage Therapy, Reflexology, Sports and Nutrition. In 2017, I studied Health Sciences at La Trobe University.  You can find more information about my academic life on my website; bernagungoren.com

As a physiotherapist and yoga instructor, I believe in holistic health, which refers to wellness through the body, mind and spirit. Modern medicine is very effective in controlling infections, performing surgeries and managing diseases. However, it has limited role in stress-based, chronic degenerative, old age and lifestyle related disorders, which are the bane of our modern society today.

As a physiotherapist, I strongly believe that trying to find the source of any disease should be our fundamental goal rather than just curing symptoms. I have also spent my years to learn how to cleanse my own body to battle with my autoimmune disease and my passion about health and nutrition has become a desire to share my knowledge with other people. My ambition in life is to help anyone to become the best version of themselves at any age.

I’m currently live in Brighton, VIC with my amazing husband, and working as a geriatric physiotherapist. No matter how old you are or what you are going through, give tomorrow the best possible chance that you can by choosing healthy options. We can transform your life into a long-term healthy lifestyle together. So this website is designed as a guide to inspire you on your health journey, and it aims to encourage you to achieve your happiest and healthiest life. I hope you will enjoy!
